"Expectation" is a series of the photographs devoted to life and dying.
It refers to spreading naive believe that as a species, we strained at the constraints of nature. Cosmetics and medicine protect us from death.
For me, these photographs are also a tribute to maturity and old age, contrary to the idea, widely proclaimed by the media and advertising, that old age does not exist.
In April 2009 the series was presented in the Gallery of Photography of Lodz's Photographic Society.
